Important Information
This page and a few others are categories of builds. All of these builds are fan-made, and have not been 100% tested to see if they work as intended. Please refer to the main builds page to see the other builds.
How To Add Builds
If you want to add a build, feel free to click the edit button or add it to the comments section. Please, try not to add builds similar to ones that are already on the page. If you see one that is similar to your idea, add yours under "Variations." For builds added to the page, please include the following information in the following order to ensure players get the most out of your build:
Build Name
"A Slogan: a nice phrase that fits in and adds a touch (optional)"
Petals Used: Sate which petals the build requires. If there is a specific order, separate petals with "/" (example iris/dandelion/rose)
How it Works: State what makes your build effective as well as what strategy you'll need to ensure success with it
Strengths: Most builds specialize and have strengths against certain mobs, situations or other builds.
Weaknesses: No build is strong everywhere, state the weaknesses of the build
How to Get: State how to get the build. Which mobs/resources should you attack to get the necessary petals?
Variations: If there are any variations to the build, put them here (usually it's swapping one or two petals for another).
Tip: You can add a tip for other people to give them some additional information (optional).
Note: Please don't put petal or mob suggestions here. Instead go to their respective pages and post it in the comments section there or go to blog posts. Alternatively, you can go to the official florr.io subreddit and post suggestions there. Note: Please do not post joke builds here. Please post them at the Joke Builds page. Note: These builds may vary in effectiveness. These builds should just be used as guides. The best build is the one that matches your play style.
Tank builds typically utilize several heavy petals, such as Rock or Heaviest. While they are good for surviving, they are often left open if several of their heavy petals are down at the same time.
The Great Wall Of China
"I will build a great wall of china!"
Petals Used: Triplet or pollen, Triplet or pollen, Triplet or pollen, Honey or rice, Rice, Rice, Rice, Honey or Rice
How it works: Since rice regenerate almost instantly, it is a great defensive petal. Cramming rice together along with honey makes this build a great offense build and a great defense build. Ram people with the rice side do deal a ton of damage, honey to continue the chase.
Strengths: uh im not sure
weaknesses: um im not sure
Variation of tank build
variations: Missile, rice, yingyang, rice, rice, ying yang, rice(Rice is shield, missile is cannon IG)
The Boulder
"A legendary everyday boulder"
Petals Used- Heavy, Rocks, or Heaviest
How It Works- The heavy, rock, and/or heaviest petals act as both a shield and a high damage rammer. You can hide behind your petals and ram into unsuspecting flowers who don't think you will do lots of damage. You can pretend to run away from someone, and when they least expect it, turn around and ram into them.
Strengths- The upside of this build is that players always underestimate this build (especially if you only use the heavy petals) so they may attack you.
Weaknesses- The downside of this build is that your petals have a very slow recharge time (especially the heaviest) and if you happen to come across a Wheel of Death, all your petals will get shredded and you will be left defenseless for a long time.
How To Get- Farm rocks and boulders. Fill your petal slots with heavy petals, and then swap them out for rocks and eventually heaviest. If you want, you can ignore the heaviest petals completely and just use rocks and heavy, as the heaviest have an insanely long recharge time.
Variations- You can replace one of the heavy/rocks/heaviest with a bubble to catch up with people or a rose to heal up.
The Defender
"Heavy armor, dude"
Petals used: (in order) Rose, Faster, Rock or Heaviest, Rock or heaviest, Rose, Faster, Rock or heaviest, Rock or heaviest.
How it works: The Fasters make your petals spin around you fast while the high durability petals protect you from damage. The roses heal you if you do get damaged somehow.
Strengths: This build is good for defending against players trying to get close to you with ramming builds or petals with low respawn time. It is also good for farming mobs for other petals. This works extremely well against defending against the Bubble Rammer or The Catalyst due to its high amount of durability.
Weaknesses: Large hornet swarms will eventually break through your defense, so this build is good for the medium zones for farming for other builds. Players with the Tajitu build or the Death Wheel can shred your defense, leaving you vulnerable.
Variations: You can replace one of the Roses with a Bubble, so when enemies break through your shield, you can run away until it recharges.
Tip: This build is meant for staying safe while farming petals. Farming anything except for Hornets will work. You can ram other players with this build, but other builds are more suited for that.
The Impenetrable Killer
"An unstoppable force"
Petals used: 4 Heaviest, 3 Eggs, 1 Rose (Epic or Rare)
How it works: With your heaviest you can block every hit that your opponent is doing (from the death-wheel to the rammer and even the necromancer). Your three ants or beetles will keep attacking them while you're attacking that flower with your heaviests. This also works on mobs, like the beetles and hornets. The hornets will target you, but your heaviests will stop them from getting through. Then, your rose will heal you up if anything had damaged you.
Weakness: It's weak to swarm of hornets, especially Einstein hornets. You will quickly get surrounded and then die. The only other build that can actually penetrate through are builds like the Bubble Assassin, which can quickly boost to you with their stingers and irises. Your Heaviest will recharge very slowly so that means, you're vulnerable to anything around you.
Variations: You can switch a Heaviest for a Bubble, which makes you dash away or towards someone or a mob. You can also switch a Heaviest to an Egg for more minions to swarm your enemies. Remember, you can make other variations on your own.
P.S: It may say impenetrable but I can't guarantee that. Sorry :(
The Rammer
"A brilliant diep.io reference"
Petals Used: Bubble, Epic Cactus, Epic rose (in inventory), and as many heaviest and rocks as possible.
How it Works: The Heaviests and rocks act as shields and do continuous damage against opponents, while the cactus poisons them, and the rose heals you. You can jump toward players with the bubble and defend to attack them(lol).
Strengths: Very good against bad bugs, but too many hornets will destroy you. This build is good against virtually all builds except for the dominator and the angel.
Weaknesses: All of your petals take a very long time to reload so you are vulnerable until they recharge.
How to Get: Farm boulders, cactuses, and dark ladybugs. Very easy.
The Wrecking Ball
"Wrecks through trees, buildings and florrs"
Petals used: Up to 4 high-health petals (preferably heaviest). Fill the rest with fasters and get a rose or two in your inventory just in case. There is no specific order, but good tactics are to spread them evenly or to pair them.
How it works: The Heaviests will act as the main weapons and will shield you from hornets, and paired with faster, it won't just be a slow rock but a wrecking ball. Even if it doesn't do a lot of damage with one hit, it can tank through anything and will do repeated damage. It would kill anything weak with ease and will crush through pea shooters or death wheels. Don't forget to heal and retreat when low on health (under half health if beginner).
Strengths: As stated above, it can easily shred out and penetrate Death-wheels, Pea shooters and other builds that have weak petals. When paired together heaviests can even wipe out entire ant hills as they can land more than one hit unlike some other petals.
Weaknesses: The main problem with this build is mainly the slow reload. Even if they can take down hornets and take a lot of punishment, the tanky petals will most likely fall after taking several shots and make you vulnerable. It is recommended not to use this build in long fights (it may even get you killed) as you will have to flee and wait for the long reload. Triple stingers (go figure!) and webs/triple webs as it slows the player down even more and the enemy may get a chance to sneak up then get you (especially bad when reloading), It also may be impractical to constantly switch a faster to rose when you have to heal, tough this can be resolved by replacing a faster for a rose and not switch at the cost of petal speed.
How to get it: First, get good petals to farm boulders or rocks with in easy zone (good choice: stingers+roses). As boulders get more and more common, use your petals to farm them and thus getting rock and heaviest. When you got them, go get fasters by farming ants. Farm until ready and keep a rose.
Variations: You can replace faster petals with a bubble or two to catch on with opponents or escape when reloading heaviest. Rose can also take another slot in case you need to heal.
Tip: At least one of the heaviest/rocks must be working in order to fight, if they are all reloading, run away from any enemy! This is a balanced pvp/pve build but isn't very good at fighting multiple enemies in most cases. Heaviest is recommended over rock and around has twice the health of rock and many times the one of a heavy. Also, if you choose rock, you should have 2-4 of them and if you choose heaviest, 1-2 is preferable.
Rock Wheel
Petals used: (in order, replace with better rarity versions if possible) rose/stinger/rock/faster/rock/faster/rock/stinger/
How it works: The rocks act as defense, and while they reload the stingers take over. The fasters keep enemies away and help the rocks defend. The rose is there in case of any damage so don't worry about losing health.
Strengths: You can deal lots of damage and defend yourself at the same time.
Weaknesses: Getting swarmed by hornets and beetles can kill this tank and also deathwheels will take it out.
How to get it: Farm rocks and bees until you get the stingers and 2-3 rocks, then kill ladybugs for a rose. Head to the hard zone and kill as many spiders so you can get the fasters, then take out some boulders if you need another rock.
Healing Rock
"Watch as other players try to hurt you, but can't"
Pedals Used: (Try to use rarer versions of roses) Heavy, Rock, Heaviest, or Corn, Roses or leaves if you don't have them, Cactus (Optional)
How it works: The heavier pedals act as defense, if they break, the roses make sure you heal when your damaged. If they get through everything, then you can't really defend or heal until the pedals return again.
Strengths: Less-damage builds, Poison builds, as the roses counter the poison, Deathwheels if you have heaviest.
Weaknesses: More powerful Deathwheels, More-damage builds without Heaviest, Horenets are not a big deal with heaviest, but can kill you when rock or heavy.
How to get: Grind boulders and rocks to get the heavy pedals or worker ants to get corn, then grind ladybugs to get the roses. When you are level 15, you can get either a cactus, another rose, or another heavy. You can also look for yellow ladybugs. At level 30, try to grind boulders to get rocks, and heaviests, and grind the yellow ladybugs in early hard (they may wander in) and dark ladybugs in ??? to get the higher levels of roses.
Variation: Poisonous Rock: Try to get poison pedals instead of Roses.
Tips: Do not attack when your defense is recharging. You can't really defend or attack in this state. Try to stay away from the most powerful Deathwheels.
How it works: This build is similar to the boulder build. When people are chasing you, run away, then quickly turn around when the heavy side is facing them. They take loads of damage and are poisoned, while you take minimal damage. It's harder to kill people without being chased, so don't use this in an empty server.
Strengths: Almost all builds fall to this build.
Weaknesses: only heaviest/rock builds are good, even then it's still hard to kill this "invincible" build.
How to get: Boulders, cactus, ladybugs
Variations: Rock is actually not as good, but if you want to you can use it. Stinger also works.
Ouch
"That hurts a lot"
Petals used: Epic cactus/ rice / corn / rose, faster, rice , faster, yin yang and stinger(Maybe rock or heavy) in inventory
Petals used: Epic cactus/Rice/Corn/Rose/Faster/Rice/Faster/Rose, And Have a yin yang in your inventory
How it works: Note: This one is a little hard to get but a little strong. The Epic cactus makes your flower more poison in case there is a teamer (Like one of the person clears the petals and the other bumps and hits you), The rice hits a player or enemy lots of times, Cause there are 2 faster petals, they also get hit by the corn, In case they get hit by the corn and not the rice, You can switch one of your slots to a yin yang, that rose is in that position there so it is harder to hit you, The faster makes your petals harder to dodge, The 2nd rice is there in case someone decides to go for your faster petals, the other faster also makes it harder to dodge, you can use the yin yang to switch the way around in case, and that rose heals you, You can swich your corn with stinger, rock, or heavy (Heaviest takes too long to relode) .
Strengths: Almost everything
Weakness: Bunch of hornets, bunch of people (Like 7) trying to kill you, massive beetles while hornets are attacking you, And when your corn is gone without something to replace.
How to get: It's really hard to get the items, Make sure to farm cactus before level 30, The cactus is a lot harder to get after level 30 , You can also get purple cactus by equipping a Cactus (Rare or Legendary), and then later on you can steal purple cactus from other people), Rice is 0.5% from baby ants, rose is from ladybugs (Any type, Rarest for a rose is red, Most common for a rose is either yellow or the one in the ?, and the best are in the ? zone, (It drops Rare and Epic.) So The ? zone is the best place to get good roses), Faster Is from queen ants, spider or solder ant, stinger is from those bees, and the yin yang is from the ladybug in the ? Zone (I'll call it the dark ladybug).
Variations: You can use Legendary cactus instead of regular or epic cactus.
