The Faster is a rare petal in florr.io that was added on February 7, 2020. It makes your other petals spin faster, hence the name.

Appearance

The petal looks nearly identical to the Fast petal but is slightly more yellow. It is a small, yellowish-white circle with a yellowish-gray outline.

Function

Durability: 5 HP

Damage: 8 HP

Respawn: 0.5 sec

Increases the speed of other petals by 0.8 radians per second per petal. This effect stacks with other fasters, so having a lot equipped can cause your petals to move at super fast speeds.

They come in variety:

• Hunting down ant holes gives you at least two, but spiders are easily found in the later zones. That being said, ants are easier to fight than spiders, though spiders are found more commonly in later zones. How to fight them is shown below:
  • To fight ants, a deathwheel is very effective at attacking multiple targets. Stingers also work.
  • Spiders are very quick, but easily vulnerable to any sharp object around. Deathwheels also work.
  • The queen ant has much ant, so use builds dealing damage interval, and circle the ant hole while fighting.
• A player with faster rotates their petals more quickly, making it difficult to fight them, so keep honey equipped on you as long as you can.

Strategy

Using

• Faster is best paired with Twin or Triplet, as the number of petals surrounding the player, combined with quicker movement and fast regeneration, can easily mow down most enemies. This build is known as the Death Wheel.
• It might be preferable not to equip Faster should the player intend to use the Missile or Dandelion petals, as it makes much harder to time their launch. Also, a player shouldn't use more than two if these if they plan on using a Bubble, as you have to be more accurate with your right clicks.
• You can pair a bunch of these with Heaviest to create the Hypersonic Cinderblock build. The heaviest will make quick work of anything it hits, but be wary of the recharge time.
• When paired with multiple Stingers, the Faster creates the Quick-Ripper build, which can almost insta-kill other flowers.

Against

• Since these are as strong as Fast, similar strategies apply to the petal. However, Faster can hit you, respawn and hit you again, so you need to be wary of the petal.
• Honey can slow the effects of these down. The Gluer makes you stickier, and stickier, and stickier, and stickier...

• This petal has the same stats as the Fast petal.
• It was originally named Fast but was renamed on February 12, 2020, because of the common petal of the same name.
• This, along with the fast, has the second fastest respawn time in the game at only 0.5 seconds.
  • They both have a longer respawn than rice, which has a 0.04 second respawn.
• Eight Yin Yang petals, known as the Taijitu Build, are faster than eight fasters.
