The Salt is a rare petal that was secretly added into florr.io on 11/1/20. It reflects some damage dealt by florrs.
Appearance
A cracked and rugged shape similar to a Rock, but is a white heptagon with a light-gray border.
Function
Damage: 10 HP
Durability: 10 HP
Respawn Time: 2 seconds
Special: Upon receiving damage from a flower, it reflects 25% of the damage back to that same flower. This effect does not stack (there is no need to equip more than 1 salt). Damage from poison will also be reflected.
Note: The reflection damage does not apply to mobs meaning if a hornet hits you they will not take damage from salt reflection (the dev confirmed this).

Obtaining
They come in variety:
- The easiest way to get this is to go to hard and farm beetles for this petal. While you can farm in medium, beetles don't spawn nearly as frequently here.
- Why would you want to fight someone for this again? Can't you see it can reflect your damage upon you? I have only one thing to say about this: Use Cacti.
Strategy
Using
- The combined effects of this, roses and cacti create an effective Survivalist Build, allowing you to survive from deadly attacks whilst dealing damage back to your opponent.
- When you get this, keep it in case your opponent does a lot of damage very quickly.
- This is a particularly useful petal in ramming builds, any damage you take while ramming will be extra damage to your opponent.
Against
- Build containing high DPS combined with quick-healing can easily counter this petal.
- Tanky petals also do the trick. Just make sure you have good healing.
- Beware using poison petals, since hitting a salt user with one will deal rapid damage to you as well.

Trivia
- This is one of two petals to affect florrs without physical contact to the petal, the other being Cactus (Epic).
- It was added on the same day as Peas (Legendary) and Basic (Unique).
