Pollen is an Epic petal that was added on February 10, 2020. It has three petals that are laid down like mines.
Appearance
It appears similarly like the Triplet, having the same small size and number of actual petals, but has a yellow color instead of white. The outlines of each are dark yellow.
Function
Damage: 8 HP (per petal)
Durability: 5 HP (per petal)
Respawn time: 1 sec
Upon left or right-clicking, all of Pollen will drop from the flower and stay stationary, damaging enemies that make contact in it, as well as blocking Hornet missiles. Left or right clicking will scatter them or cluster together respectively before staying still.
Each petal has the same stats as a fast petal, with each having its own respawn timer too. Upon being dropped on the ground, pollen will stay there for 5 seconds.
Drops
Percentage
No Mobs can drop this petal, instead, Pollen has a rare 1% (1/100) chance to replace any Rare petal dropped by a flower (Player) upon death. Players that already have pollen may drop it as normal.
Obtaining
It's really good, but hard to get:
- Since no mobs can drop this, hunt players with several rare petals. Medium is a good place to do so because of how many players pvp there, and also how easy it is to get a variety of rare petals. Make sure your levels don't go too high though, otherwise you will be restricted to the Hard zone where it'll be harder to pvp.
- If you see a guy dripping pollen, or find some on the ground, follow it and kill the person who has it. There may be many others who are chasing the same person though.
Strategy
Using
- Pollen can be used to slow down enemies that try to chase you. While a single Pollen does not do much, enemies that consecutively touches them will eventually have their health wear down.
- If one attempts to find them, the player must be well equipped to fight other players, and even then there's only 1% chance for them to drop Pollen instead of a rare petal, unless they already have Pollen equipped or in inventory, which provides higher chance of dropping.
- This is a great defensive petal allowing you to run away from mobs while the pollen left behind on the ground will kill them.
- This also works against other players as they must try to avoid the pollen while chasing you.
- Although this petal is quite similar to Triplet, it is played differently, one being defensive and one more offensive.
- Try staying in one spot, as the pollen stacks and when hunters try to kill you, their petals are destroyed(even one pollen can work)
Against
- It's a good idea to follow a different pathway than the trail of pollen on the ground to avoid taking damage.
- Each pollen is like a fast, so similar strategies apply.
